Reflections at Christmas Memorable Moments

Thinking back on past Holidays I couldn't help but think about times in my own life that were memorable to me. I found most memorable was not gifts, but kind things that were done.
I remember back to a time when I could not provided a Christmas for my children no tree and it even would be hard to provide food. It wasn't that I wasn't working, there just wasn't enough money. I was a single mom and was struggling to say the least. Looking at my children I knew they were old enough to know, things were not looking as bright as they should. They tried to be optimistic and say it was ok but I just felt like I had failed them in some way.
Sometimes, it happens something good comes into our lives. There was a group of people that helped people at Christmas. Knocking on my door was a lady who said "your name had been given as a family in need of help and they wanted to give us a Christmas". At first I couldn't believe what I heard, then realized she was for real. Looking at my children, I saw their faces and eyes light up the Sprit of Christmas came back.
Guardian Angels are what I called them, people who try to bring happiness and caring into people's lives.
With the Christmas season coming around soon, give some thought to caring and bring happiness to someone. Don't forget your family in nursing homes and loved ones close to you. Reflect on the moments in your lives and remember people less fortunate, many of them are not there because they want to be. Most of all remember what Christmas is truly about.
Happy Holidays to all!
